Health Technology Assessment for GI Practice
How new drugs, tests, devices and algorithms are judged for value, with worked examples from IBD, hepatitis, liver disease and endoscopy.
An open, eight-module course for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, pharmacists and health managers who sit on formulary committees or advise payers. It follows the logic of an assessment from decision problem to evidence, economics, affordability, values and review, with calculators and a committee simulator. Its method draws on the HTA Society (HTAA) platform; every clinical example uses a GI condition.
